The Wings of History Air Museum: A Photographic Summary

From handmade miniature models to the real deal, the left hanger of the Wings of History Air Museum is filled with all sorts of early aircraft.

The red plane is made from fabric that was sealed and painted over. Along the wing, we could see the stitching for each panel.

The Wings of History Air Museum also has a prop shop known as The Ole Fahlin Memorial Propeller Shop.

This is the only FAA authorized repair shop for wooden propellers west of the Mississippi River.

Old plane models from The Flying Lady restaurant in Morgan Hill (1981- 1994) hang throughout the left hanger. The numbered tags on each plane referenced their matching number on the restaurant’s menus that told customers the aircraft model.

One of their newer exhibits features a eVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) vehicle by Kitty Hawk Corporation (no longer in business).
